Error Message - No GPS, Weak GPS, Incorrect Starting Location, Map Will Not Follow in Route
Root Cause - This can occur if the phone internal GPS sensor is not sending GPS data to our AT&T Navigator app
Fix - The phone needs to be checked for various settings and reset to assist GPS function. If AT&T Navigator app cannot verify GPS data our app will not work.
Trouble Shooting Steps - WP8
1st - Check & verify Battery Life is 50% or more
2nd - Verify Location Settings are set to On
From the Start / Home screen, slide screen to the left.
Next select Settings and then select Location - Tap to set On or Off (Verify On).
3rd - Power Cycle Device
Press and hold down Power button.
You will then see prompt to drag the window down to the bottom to power off.
Allow up to 15 seconds for the device to completely power off.
Press and hold Power button till device powers on.
Please try to use YND app out in the open clear view of the sky.
If the Issue persist please try next step
4th - Uninstall & Re-Install Your Navigation Deluxe Application
From the Start / Home screen, slide screen to the left.
Find YND then Press and hold down till screen displays UNINSTALL.
Next Install YND
A. Select Pre-Loaded Icon or VPL (virtual preloaded link) to start the install process.
B. If you cannot find app preloaded go to Shopping Bag Icon “App Store".
Select Apps & then select Search Icon.
Type in Your Navigation Deluxe & select Arrow Key (bottom right corner of screen)
Select YND to start Download, once downloaded Start app to complete install.
Please try to use YND app out in the open clear view of the sky.
If the issues persist it is possible the GPS sensor within device is having issues.
Please contact carrier for a service provider to look into phone.
