Depending on your device and available services, Location Services uses a combination of cellular, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS to determine your location. If you're not within a clear line of sight to GPS satellites, your device will determine your location.
GPS accuracy can range from 20m (approx. 65ft) to 100m (approx. 328 ft) Most of the time, the GPS is accurate to less than 50 meters (approx. 164 ft). There are several variables/ factors that could play a role with the accuracy of the GPS;
GPS Hardware - (Device internal GPS chip/ receiver)
Even if the GPS hardware is good, you cannot assume you will always have great accuracy since GPS works on "Line of sight". Make sure you're outdoors in an open area so there is nothing that could possibly obstruct the GPS connection with the satellites
Time and Location
Not all GPS sats are available in all places at all times. The accuracy depends on the number of available satellites available that have connected with the device GPS receiver. When having issues with an error such as "No GPS" or "Weak GPS", it may be best to try in a different location.
Traveling Speed
If users are having issues with the GPS, we usually suggest first and foremost to please not use our navigation app while driving as it is dangerous, as well as the connection of the GPS may be due to the rate of speed the user is traveling. This has more to do with the polling time rather than the GPS accuracy. It becomes difficult to exactly poll the GPS for the location, at the required time.
